Wine Women & Shoes' sophisticated events feature wine tasting, auctions, fashion marketplace and often a fashion show created for women who enjoy fine wine, great style, and female camaraderie – all to support a noble cause. Tonight it will be benefiting the Make A Wish Foundation.

Come by the Drillfield on Virginia Tech's campus this Saturday from 9-11am to check out Hokie Heels in person.

The Big Event at Virginia Tech is a student-run community service effort that has grown into the 2nd largest event of its kind in the nation. Every spring, thousands of students, faculty, and staff come together to complete hundreds of community service projects throughout Blacksburg, Christiansburg and the New River Valley.

Being part Irish, I am always up for a St. Patrick's day celebration. I've been shopping for some new green heels and I came across these lovelies on Etsy.

Steve Madden is also a good source, they always have a good, simple green pump.

You can also go for the slightly crazier, glitter shamrock pumps, which I think would be fun to rock at a parade.

Artreach 4 Kids was born out of the belief that ART is an essential medium for human development and can enhance children’s learning in all areas.

Fan Feet heels (FanFeet.com) totally supports this and were happy to donate a pair of Wolfpack Heels to the cause. They were a striking addition to the silent auction items.

I personally had some wonderful wine provided by The Wine Feed (thewinefeed.com) and some delectable chocolates from Red Light Chocolates (redlightchocolates.com). These are also businesses from the Raleigh area and are owned by some great people.
